We as citizens desire many services that we would like the state government to provide. However, all services cost money. The issue is: What are we willing to pay for? I will maintain vigilance to ensure that services that we require are paid for -- but paid for today and not kicking the can down road so others will pay. In two words, fiscal responsibility.
